Health into Happiness










Welcome to Health into Happiness !


We are all living our lives in different ways. Some of you enjoy to be busy working - some enjoy to be at home working hard to make family life enjoyable. Some try and do both - many try and do both!
The Important thing to remember and ask yourself is - How much is enough? or is it ever enough? How long do we keep going until our poor being just can’t take anymore and crashes.
Do we wait for that point or . . .
ARE WE SMART ENOUGH TO RECOGNIZE THE BODILY SIGNS OF - ENOUGH IS ENOUGH -TIME TO RELAX AND HEAL. Of course we are! This is not an impossible task - but more so a crucial one, especially when it comes to your health! STOP - PLEASE and ask yourself - if I can just change one thing at a time to help me live longer, would I? Of course the answer should be “YES!” … Here is one thing you can start with for now (there will be much more information on this site in the following days - so stay tuned!)
RELAXATION : People relax in many different ways - the important thing is to relax at least 30 minutes a day! Some people find it relaxing to watch a good movie, some reading a good book or magazine, others sleeping. Something I would like to share with you was a simple relaxation technique which I was taught a few years ago - it works well for me so maybe you could give it a go!
Lay on a comfortable surface on your back! This works better if you are playing some soft relaxing music in the background. Close your eyes and start unwinding from the top of your head by stretching your head backwards then bring it forward. Now carry this stretching technique down your arms and through to your fingertips - stretch them out, now down the rest of your body until you have stretched out to your tippy toes! Finally imagine you are a bird flying through the air - your wings are going up and down - ever so slowly. Keep this picture up in your mind until you feel totally relaxed. Lay still for as long as you like. Enjoy!
